B.H. Skwala Stonefly Nymph

B.H. Skwala Stonefly Nymph

$2.50

The Skwala is an often overlooked species that is getting much more attention because it presents explosive fun early in the season. This early season stonefly (March-June), known as an "olive stone," is a major food source in many western streams, especially the Yakima (WA), Bitterroot (MT), Owhyee (ID), Bighorn (ID), Clark Fork (ID), and Rock Creek (ID). The nymph is fish-able all season. Few patterns imitate this species. Developed on the Yakima, this one is the best.
