One of the most famous of all Atlantic salmon flies on the Restigouche River, the Rusty Rat claims both history and beauty. Some attribute its origin to tyer Roy Angus Thompson, whose initials make up the fly's last name. However, more recent research uncovered that the true originator was Joseph Clovis Arseneault. In any event, this historic fly makes a beautiful pin for any outfit or hat.
