Just like in the Lower 48, nymph fishing is often more productive in Alaska fly fishing than dry fly fishing. The fish just spend more time on the bottom than on the top of the water. B.H. Skwala Stonefly NymphThe Skwala is an often overlooked species that is getting much more attention because it presents explosive fun early in the season.
